1900 Birsa Munda was arrested at Chakradhar forest.

1916 Banaras Hindu University was opened.

1925 First electric train started from Bombay V.T. up to Kurla.

1928 Simon Commission came to India

1954 500 piligrims died in Kumbha mela at Allahabad.

1992 Kapil Dev became second highest wicket taker with 400th wicket.
