1556 - Akbar was proclaimed as the successor to Humayun.

1628 - Shah Jehan was crowned.

1658 - Dara Shukoh was defeated.

1929
14 February 1929 Many young revolutionaries  accused in Lahore Conspiracy case (Bhagat Singh Batukeshwar Dutt, and Sukh Dev were in the accused list) went on hunger strike in the jail. http://www.shahidbhagatsingh.org/index.asp?link=ordinance)
On 13 September 1929, Das died after a 63-day hunger strike.
Bhagat Singh finally heeded a resolution of the Congress party, and a request by his father, ending his hunger strike on 5 October 1929 after 116 days.
